Thanks to your entrance ticket, you have access to the festival area and can see the balloons taking off just a few meters away from you!

The Festival ticket also includes:

  • reduction of CHF 5.- for tickets for the new Espace Ballon exhibition (at CHF 13.- instead of CHF 18.-)
  • the viewing of the film on the L'Etivaz AOP cheese making process at the Caves de L'Etivaz and
  • the philatelic exhibition

Festival pins 2024

The festival pin gives you access to the event during the 9 days! It also allows you to visit the philatelic exhibition, to watch the Caves de l'Etivaz film for free and get a discount on the new Espace Ballon exhibition.

From Montreux, Zweisimmen and Interlaken

The MOB serves Château-d’Œx daily with one train per hour. Thanks to the panoramic trains, the adventure begins as soon as you board at the station. Upon arrival in the Pays-d’Enhaut, discover the first hot-air balloons from the comfort of your seat, through the large panoramic windows!

Transports publics fribourgeois

Direct access from Palézieux and Bulle

The S50 line, departing from Palézieux and Bulle, will be exceptionally extended to Château-d’Œx on the weekends of 24–25 January and 31 January–1 February 2026. This offers a direct, transfer-free journey and comfortable, stress-free access to the Festival.

TPF also provide connections to the Gruyère region from Bern, the Swiss capital, as well as from the cities of the canton of Fribourg.

Discounted tickets from Aigle, Leysin and Les Diablerets

Take advantage of discounted tickets offering up to 50% off the full fare (20% off the half-fare) on the Aigle – Sépey – Les Diablerets (ASD R71) train line and bus line 175 during the festival weekends.
These tickets are available exclusively via digital channels: the TPC Mobile and SBB Mobile apps, as well as on sbb.ch, up to 1 hour before departure.

TPC buses take you safely over the Col des Mosses. Your final stop is located less than a 2-minute walk from the festival entrance.
